A note from Ken Hopper 12/1/99
On 11/9/99 members of Project Kokanee collected over 713,000 eggs from
the Little Truckee river(above Stampede).Lars Droivold, Board member and head
of "Stream Watchers" was in charge of the event. He can be reached at
(530)265-4445. I snapped a few photos in between netting, egg stripping and
other chores.It was a great day on the river -- a few(8-10) bald eagles
enjoyed the bounty!
