Lying Southeast of Bend this very productive lake is over 6,300 feet up! It gets plenty cold here even in the summer sometimes. I don't get up here very often and didn't realize it had Kokanee till summer of 1995.  A Mercury Poison warning is posted for the lake. If you don't mind turning fish loose because they may pose a health hazard, this seems to be very productive Kokanee water. The fishing is usually excellent for Kokanee that average 12 1/2 inches on normal years.
